  Safe Areas in Rochester, Minnesota   For the most part Rochester is one of the safest little big cities in Minnesota (its the third largest city in Minnesota after Minneapolis and St.Paul) There are really no "rough" parts or areas of town that you would want to avoid. Downtown Rochester overall is very safe any time of the day. Downtown is patrolled not only by the Rochester Police Department but also the Mayo Clinic security (who are very efficient on stamping out any disturbance on Mayo Clinic property) and hotel security. Outside of downtown you can travel anywhere by cab or car and you're pretty safe. Overall Rochester, Minnesota is safe.

Minnesota has several different drive-in theaters, none of which are in Rochester. The closest drive-in theater to Rochester would be  Mann's Theater  Cottage View Drive-In, located in Cottage Grove, Minnesota which is 70 miles or roughly 1 hour and 20mins from Rochester.  Cottage View Drive-In has what one would expect in a Drive-In.
