We received a fair amount of email from visitors interested in knowing where is the closest drive-in movie theater to Rochester, Minnesota. Minnesota has several different drive-in theaters, none of which are in Rochester. The closest drive-in theater to Rochester would be Mann's Theater Cottage View Drive-In, located in Cottage Grove, Minnesota which is 70 miles or roughly 1 hour and 20mins from Rochester. 


Cottage View Drive-In has what one would expect in a Drive-In. Showtimes start at dusk (approx 10:30 pm). Prices are $8.00 for adults and children $1.00. For more information and directions:

Now when you come to Rochester Minnesota, if you ask the locals "what's there to do in Rochester?". Most people will start laughing and their minds will begin to draw a blank.
