If you're coming to Rochester for treatment at Mayo Clinic, I would say the Kahler Grand Hotel. Reason being is because its right across the street from the Mayo Clinic (less than half a block away), most people staying there are also visiting the Mayo Clinic, so in this way a person wouldn't be disturbed by a different group of hotel guests i.e sport teams etc. If you're coming to Rochester just to visit and no treatment, I would say the Marriott Hotel downtown would be a fine stay. The store has the normal items one would find at any thrift store knick knacks, dishware, clothing, books, furniture etc. We also have a good size I.B.M plant here it often times donate desks, computer keyboards and other misc. office items here.
