Most cities have a Salvation Army, sometimes it is not in the best of locations, it’s not in the best location, a plus for the Rochester store it’s located in a really nice area and the store is up kept.

The Goodwill Store in my opinion is one of the best thrift stores in Rochester. It has some really quality items here not just junk, the staff do a great job at picking through and offering the best items.
The prices are fair. The store is really kept clean and nice
The Community Clothesline Thrift Store (closed) - 814 11th Ave NE Rochester, Minnesota 507 282-8050
This is a very unique thrift store it is operated by the sisters from the
local Catholic Church. The store is kept very "tidy and neat". The
thrift store is also small but the sisters manage to pack every item in the
store just right. There is no extra junk here anything you see in the store has
a reason to be there which is nice
The store has tons of interesting items and some are even collectibles they
sale here. The prices are really good and the staff are very nice people. This
store is open everyday of the week, but closed every Saturday except the last
Saturday of month.

The store has the normal items one would find at any thrift store knick knacks,
dishware, clothing, books, furniture etc. We also have a good size I.B.M plant
here it often times donate desks, computer keyboards and other misc. office items
here.
This store is close to the downtown area and there's also a K-Mart in the
strip mall for more shopping options.
