Treasure Island Casino is a local favorite, it's a nice getaway. The casino is located 70 miles northwest of Rochester, Minnesota in the small town of Welch. There are many transportation services that offer various "trip" package deals.

Treasure Island hosts most games you would expect from a casino; from slots, table games (blackjack, poker etc;), bingo, golf and also bowling. Treasure Island is a great place to break the monotony of clinic appointments :)

A few things to note:
  • Treasure Island does serve alcohol
  • Treasure Island is a smoking casino, but there is a section that is non-smoking and they do a great job of ventilating this area.
  • There is a 500+ plus room hotel adjacent to the casino for all staying needs.
  • Day and evening care for younger kids.
  • Shuttle service runs daily from - 8:45am - 10:00pm Monday - Saturday and 12:30 to 7pm on Sundays.
